未来世界，人类文明高度发达，智能机器人大量涌现，已在日常生活中占据重要的位置，而且人类为了获得永恒的生命，也尝试将自己改造为机器人。同时，一列名为“银河铁道999号”的宇宙列车担负起连接地球和宇宙文明的使命，星系从此不再遥远。 少年星野铁郎（野沢雅子 配音）的母亲被嗜好杀戮的机械伯爵杀害，他肩负母亲的嘱托，决定前往安达罗星云改造身体，为此不惜在车站抢夺他人的银河铁道999号车票，不过也因此邂逅了容貌与母亲极其相像的梅蒂尔（池田昌子 配音）。凭借梅德尔的帮助，他终于踏上999号列车，继而展开一段充满未知的旅程…… 本片为《银河铁道999》第一部剧场版动画。。Esther Harrison has it good and got exactly what she wanted in life| steady income two kids and a loving husband but, when a dark figure from her past comes calling, it reveals a secret that will change everything.。A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play.
